The Project
Amigos de la Educación is registered in Costa Rica as a non-profit organization supporting education within a 20 mile radius of Tamarindo. Students in need receive scholarships which are awarded based on academic performance, attendance and social ability factors. Schools may receive assistance for building materials, teaching suppplies, and books for student use. Amigos de la Educación helps students and schools in Cartagena, 27th de Abril, Villareal, Huacas, El LLanito, La Garita, Matapalo and Portegolpe.
The “Have a Heart” Charity Golf Tournament is the annual big fund raising event for Amigos de la Educación. Help make this year the best, most profitable tournament yet, and help support scholarship and education in the greater Tamarindo area.
